Book Release: I Cannot Find My Belly Button!
I’m thrilled to share the release of my latest illustrated board book, I Cannot Find My Belly Button! - written by Eva Treistman and published by Workman Kids. This playful, rhyming book follows a child on a search for their missing belly button. With a poppable belly button on the cover, bold colors, and fun illustrations, it’s a lighthearted way for toddlers and preschoolers to learn about body parts.
One of my favorite parts of illustrating this book was designing the main character to feel inclusive and gender-neutral, so all kids can see themselves in the story. Each spread is broken into panels (kind of like a comic) so little readers can focus on each body part while exploring bright, energetic scenes.
