Art and Product Development: Holiday Mini Collection - Oh What Fun! | Target Corporation | Released 2016
Oh What Fun! was a mini-trend that Target included in their 2016 Holiday assortment. They wanted a collection of art that was internationally inspired and bursting with color to use on product lines with significant sku counts - such as ornaments and wrapping paper. They asked that I pull a palette, create a design aesthetic, and develop icons and prints to sprinkle in throughout the set.
Using geometric shapes and pattern details, I developed a cast of unique characters in an eclectic palette of colors. I included a mix of holiday iconography and wild animals - which always make for a fun addition to Target’s holiday section!
